There is truth in the saying, “You are what you eat”. And, according to holistic wellness approach to digestion and nutrition, “You are also what body can and can’t digest.”

Meal times are an easy opportunity to weave simple, tasty Ayurvedic tips into your daily (three times a day!) self-care routine. Ayurveda’s holistic perspective of one’s digestive fire directly relates to one’s overall health in body and mind. The quality of your digestion affects the seven bodily tissues, mental and emotional state, and either supports or stresses vitality and longevity.

This class is perfect for anyone experiencing heaviness or bloating after meals; or if you are ready to make small, do-able changes to eating habits. Also, if you’re interested how to weave Ayurvedic cooking and baking tips into your standard, favorite dishes.

Disclaimer: I make my Mom’s meatloaf, enjoy mint chip ice-cream, and love old-fashioned donuts. I use simple Ayurvedic spice and herb tricks to support my digestion and sinuses. And, pay attention and improvise when my body is telling me to avoid or postpone my favorite cravings.
