Aromatherapy

Essential oils. Nature’s gifts. Precious assets. Innate qualities of essential oils work in union with your body’s intelligence. I’ve used essential oils since 2002 and have studied aromatherapy at the Ayurvedic Institute. I’d love to advise you on which oils support digestion, immunity, moods, relaxation, hormones, and respiratory system. When it comes to holistic wellness, Mother (Nature) knows best.

I primarily use Young Living oils. Don’t need a starter kit? Send me a note and I’ll send you a backstage pass to your favorite oil.

Teatime is now o’clock

Welcome to my virtual tea parlor. Each quarter, I feature a tea that will harmonize your health with current season(north of equator). Whether you brew by the bag or steep loose petals in favorite teapot, grab a cup and learn how tea supports digestion, immunity, and friendships. Yes, friendships, hence the phrase - tea for two.

I partner with Magic Hour, an Ojai based tea company that makes organic, fair trade teas. Zhena works personally with small farmer’s. Her teas will have you steeping in ease and happiness long after your last sip.

Summer Tea Party:

Symbeeosis Immunitea from Magic Hour Teas in Ojai. A comforting cup of immune system support. Antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and and-microbial properties. A FLOWER POWER blend of Organic Echinacea Purpurea Herb, Butterfly Pea Flower (which turns tea a lovely pinkish-purple color), Organic Jasmine Green Tea, Organic Chamomile, Organic Lavender, Organic Elderberry, Organic Hibiscus and Organic Cinnamon.

Hydrate and Chill Out

Hydrate body and chill mind. Summer sun and heat depletes water element in the body. And tends to ignite pitta emotions like impatience and anger. This organic rose water spray cools and soothes skin irritated by summer sun and heat. It’s also a wonderful toner to use in your daily skin care routine. For mind and emotions, spritz face, back of neck and heart at first spark of high pitta.

Maharishi Ayurveda rose water is food grade! Add to water or create an Ayurvedic summer mocktail using fresh squeezed lime, 3 cucumber slices, small pinch himalayan salt, and 2 sprays of rose water. Cheers to summer fun! Click link and enter “rose water spray” in search bar.
