Ayurveda & Yoga lululemon Ambassador

Ayurveda & Yoga Blossoms in Santa Barbara!

The Santa Barbara lululemon store has asked me to be their Ayurveda & Yoga Ambassador!

And of course, I said “Yes!”

On February 26, I took my dogs Duke and Machi to Hendry’s Beach and met up with Assistant Manager Erin Clow, for what I thought was just a dog walk.

I was totally surprised by the scene that greeted me after our walk! Manager Laura Brittain and some of the crew were on hand with a sweet sign, balloons, libations and chocolate cake. Hendry’s has always been one of my favorite hangs in Santa Barbara, and this event made it even more so.

I’ve been collaborating with the fine folks in this store for a while now. The lululemon Santa Barbara team has always been interested in how Ayurveda weaves into yoga and one’s daily life.

I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to co-create more amazing Ayurveda & Yoga classes and events for the Santa Barbara community. Perhaps even write some articles for the lululemon blog, as it’s my mission to share the benefits and beauty of how Ayurveda creates optimal health, vitality, and creativity in one’s life.

This is huge for me in terms of manifesting the alignments in our sweet little Santa Barbara community and beyond, in order to share Ayurveda and Yoga. I am so happy the ancient, amazing and awesome practice of Ayurveda is being more and more recognized and embraced in our modern world!

Thank you to the entire Santa Barbara lululemon crew!

Also, much gratitude to the “Dudes” of Ayurveda – Charak, Sushruta, and Vagbhat. And my beloved teachers Dr. Vasant Lad and Dr. Claudia Welch who by sharing their love of Ayurveda, helped me fall in love with the beauty and magic of this ancient healing science.
