Changing old habits and mental patterns is hard.
Or is it?
Just as clothes cover the body, our thoughts blanket the mind. Clothes can either suffocate or enhance the body. Same goes with thoughts. Positive, loving and beautiful thoughts expand and enhance the mind. Negative, fearful, and self-shaming thoughts constrict and obstruct the amazing faculties of the mind.
Every morning I choose what to wear on my body. So, it makes perfect sense that every morning I choose what thoughts I put in my mind.
Changing old habits and mental habits may not be as hard as I thought.
I am going to donate some old clothes today. Ones that no longer fit or make me feel fabulous.
And then, later I will take a hike and hope to cross paths with a snake. Snakes are master magicians at shedding their old skin.
I am so ready to shed some old habits and mental patterns. I am ready to move with more ease, strength and grace.
Donating to my personal goodwill is all about self-care. And that lifestyle is always in fashion.
